Miki Hirosawa (Stylist and Designer)

Summary

Miki Hirosawa graduated from Bunka Fukuso majoring in Fashion Design. After graduation, she became a freelance stylist. She has studied corsage making at Atelier Senka, and draping and pattern making at the Ito school. In 2002 Mrs. Hirosawa founded Kiri no Hana.

• Costume design and consulting for celebrities, talent, and musical productions.
• Worked with an established Nishijin Ori factory and maker of wedding dresses.
• Costume designer for the Musical “Yasashisa o Wasureta Blues” by Kamio Kenichi
• Designs exhibited at Entre Livre Gallery in Soho, New York
• Made clothing for actress Miho Nikaido while in New York.
• Designed a dress using traditional yuzen dyed fabric as part of a collaboration. The dress was on exhibit at “Atmosphere” during Fashion Week in Paris and also shown in Dubai’s Fashion Week.
